Special BIO is an organic blend that is balanced in taste and composition, as 50% of the roasted coffee is Arabica quality of American origin, while the remaining half is Indonesian Robusta quality, both of very high quality and very aromatic.
In fact, the Robusta we used for the blend is exceptionally well grown and harvested at a higher than average altitude, which is why the coffee is ‘clean’ (absence of unpleasant and sour flavours) and fragrant.
The delicate taste and fruity aroma of the Arabica meet the full-bodied and creamy Robusta in the cup, making Special Bio ideal for those who prefer a coffee with a strong but not excessive character.
The medium roast enhances the Arabica aromas in the cup, leaving a lingering aftertaste with sweet notes of dark chocolate and citrus fruits on the palate.
